Milieu - A Warm Wooden Hollow (2008)

Something a little different... an album from the U.S. based ambient artist Milieu, out on the experimental 'Infraction' label. So very under-rated (can someone say slept on??) the album cover fits the soundscape contained in this release perfectly, certain words come to mind... hazy, warm, psychedelic, distant. Electro-acoustic ambient at it's best.

Evoking pleasant memories of distant places that you may (or may not) have been to. Reverberated organs, piano & guitar, disintegrating lo-fi loops, organic sound recordings, lush washes of white noise floating in & out (and through) ethereal organic drones.
